FAQ
How will we receive our images & how many can we expect?
Solace families receive an online gallery of retouched image in both black & white, and color. The number depends on many factors, but families can expect a minimum of 30 final images, with a gallery average of 75 final images.
How should we prepare for our session?
While there is no need to prepare for your session, we are always willing to include any personal items or details (such as an outfit, stuffed animal, or hat) that you may have. Wear whatever feels comfortable, and we’ll focus on capturing genuine, organic interactions.
How long will our session last?
Sessions typically last between 30 - 60 minutes, and we allow for up to 90 minutes to adapt to your pace and needs.
How does Solace handle the privacy of their families?
Your privacy is paramount. If you opt for having our team document your child, we will provide a form that allows you to choose the use of images to ensure your peace of mind.
What is retouching and how will it affect our images?
While we enhance the images for color correction and aesthetics, we refrain from altering the reality captured, including medical equipment. If you are a family who did not get to use us for photography, but have personal images you'd like to have retouched by us, please email us directly- team@solacephotography.org
Who can be involved in a Solace Session?
Our goal is to always capture beautiful images of your child(ren), first and foremost. If there are others in your support network that you would like to be included, we always welcome that. We are here to support your family, other child(ren) etc. and encourage them to be a part of the session, if they would like. Those present at the time of the session are also welcome to simply watch, or perhaps participate with just their hands etc. It's our goal to make everyone feel comfortable and involved in a way that they define.
